Extensive Crankshaft Inspection over the weekend

RaceSaver would like to thank all involved in the extensive crankshaft inspection over the weekend.

The crankshafts were removed from 2 RaceSaver competitor’s engines in Texas. The crankshafts were then weighed on certified scales after all crankshaft accessories were removed (timing gear, key ways, pilot bushings etc… 1 crankshaft was slightly over 48 lbs. The other one needed the 1% allowance by the rules. Therefore both crankshafts were deemed legal.

Again thanks to all involved. This is proof that the RaceSaver rules, tech inspection, track tech and hard card process works to make RaceSaver a viable option for sprint car racing.
